Holiday on Ice is one of the leading brands in the world with a strong brand awareness.
The company was founded in 1943 in Toledo, Ohio (USA), and is now owned by CTS Eventim –
one of the leading international providers in the ticketing and live entertainment industry.
Approximately 250 million tickets are marketed by CTS Eventim on a yearly basis.
The head office of Holiday on Ice is situated in the Netherlands and is managed by CEO Peter O’Keeffe.
Over a period of 80 years, Holiday on Ice has produced 100 different ice shows and
performed more than 60,000 shows in 620 cities in more than 80 countries on
five continents. It is the most visited ice show in the world and is fun, and suitable for
everyone. Around 350 million people have already enjoyed the shows.
Holiday on Ice brings top-class entertainment for all ages at a good price and quality level.
The cast includes around 40 international – Olympic-level – young and talented figure skaters.
Each year, a brand-new show is developed by a team of leading international creatives.

Our history
1943 Foundation of HOI and first show in the USA, Toledo, Ohio, 25th of December.
1950 First tour in Europe – first stops in Germany (Dortmund & Frankfurt).
1988 Holiday on Ice welcomes the 250th Million visitor.
1994 Holiday On Ice celebrates its 50th Birthday in Nice.
1996 Holiday On Ice becomes part of Endemol.
1998 Holiday On Ice joins Stage Entertainment which is formed from the Live Entertainment Divisions of Endemol.
2003 The Guinness Book of records recognizes Holiday On Ice as the most popular ice show in the world with over 300 million visitors.
2008 A new record: 320 Million visitors have now attended a Holiday On Ice as the company celebrates its 65th anniversary.
2016 HOI becomes part of CTS Eventim.
2023 Holiday on Ice celebrates its 80th Birthday.
