Ground Riggers

As a Ground Rigger you play a crucial part in the safe and efficient installation of the show. You ensure that all rigging systems, lifting equipment, and technical elements are properly installed, secured, and maintained throughout the tour.

In this role you will be reporting to the Technical Stage Manager and working closely with other crew members to enable the tour, travelling through Germany or Austria, France, and the Netherlands.

What will you be doing

  • Execute load-ins- and load-outs of the show in different venues
  • Install and secure rigging systems, hoists, pulleys, and lifting equipment
  • Build and maintain supporting structures and pulling gear, following all safety regulations
  • Set up, operate, and maintain show levitation, lighting, and other technical show equipment
  • Supervise and coordinate local rigging teams during the installations of show hoists according to the rigging plot
  • Maintain all rigging material and equipment during the tour
  • Support the wider technical crew with additional production tasks when required

What you bring

  • Relevant experience in live entertainment is a must
  • IPAF license 1a, 3a and 3b
  • Working knowledge of cables breaking strength, shackles, hooks, and other rigging gear
  • Excellent understanding of technical manuals and Auto CAD software and drawings
  • Good written and verbal English language skills
  • Stress-resilient and a creative problem solver
  • Availability from October 2026 to the end of April 2027
