Backstage Catering Chef – Touring Production
As our Backstage Catering Chef, you will be responsible for providing daily meals for the cast and crew while the show is on tour. You will create a welcoming catering environment and prepare varied, nutritious meals that suit the diverse backgrounds and dietary needs of our cast and crew, while working within the agreed budgets and guidelines set by the production office.
This role combines culinary creativity with the unique atmosphere of live entertainment and touring life.
What will you be doing
- Prepare and serve daily lunch and dinner for cast and crew at the tour venues
- Set up and operate a pop-up catering area at each show venue
- Provide healthy snacks and small bites throughout the day
- Plan menus and manage grocery purchasing and meal preparation
- Ensure all food preparation follows hygiene and food safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized backstage kitchen and catering space
What you bring
- Experience in independent or private catering services
- Ability to cook healthy and varied meals for an international team
- Relevant culinary diploma including hygiene certificate
- Experience working in sports teams or touring productions is a plus
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced touring environment
- Affinity with live entertainment and touring life
- Valid driving licence
- Availability November 2026 – April 2027
