

AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN
The Automation Technician sees to all motorized show props and keeping electrical components up and running. Supports on all other activities to build and execute a safe and high-quality performance. You report into the Technical Manager and work close with an international crew travelling through Germany, or Austria, Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
What are your key tasks?
- Assists the crew on the load in, load out and run of the show
- Install, operate and maintain motorized show props and/or flying elements
- Discover and repair possible technical issues and finding resourceful solutions
- Provides overall support where needed during the tour
What do you offer?
- Relevant experience in operating motion soft- and hardware, motorized props and/or flying
- IPAF license 1a, 3a and 3b
- Able to maintain, use, fix, test hand and power tools, ohm- and voltmeters
- Understanding of technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Good written and verbal English language skills
- Good health
- Flexibility to work varied long hours, weekends, public holidays, overnights, and scheduled performances as required
- Stress-resilient and a creative problem solver
- Availability from October 2023 to the end of April 2024
