Video Technician

As a video technician, you are responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of all video and related electrical systems that keep the show running smoothly. From load-in to showtime, you ensure all equipment is set up correctly and performs reliably in every venue.

You’ll be touring across Belgium, Germany or Austria, France and the Netherlands, working in a fast-paced environment where every venue brings new challenges.

What will you be doing

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment
  • Conduct visual and performance quality checks
  • Inspect mountings of electrical equipment to ensure they conform to health and safety regulations
  • Operate video media servers plus the DMX control systems
  • Adjust video mapping and content according to venue requirements
  • Manage and support transportation (load-in and load-out)
  • Provide hands-on support to all other activities on building and executing the show

What you bring

  • Relevant experience in building and operating video walls, projectors, and media server platforms
  • Audio-visual qualification preferred
  • IPAF licence 1a, 3a, and 3b
  • Ability to maintain, use, fix, and test hand and power tools, lighting fixtures, and ohmmeters/voltmeters
  • Understanding of technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Physically fit (no vertigo or colour blindness)
  • Stress-resilient with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
  • Availability October 2026 – April 2027
