Light & System Technician
In this role, you are responsible for the installation, operation and synchronization of lighting, video and show control systems that bring the production to life. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you work closely with an international crew to deliver a high-quality show in every venue.
This position will take you on tour across Belgium, Germany or Austria, France and the Netherlands, were no two days, or venues are the same.
What will you be doing
- Assists with load-ins, show operation and load-outs in different venues
- See to the proper installation and operation of technical light equipment and peripheral systems
- Ensure proper setup, timing and synchronization of technical systems and effects
- Monitor and trouble shout technical issues in a proactive and resourceful way
- Ensure safety regulations are understood, followed and maintained by the crew
- Maintain a clear overview of all activities, timing and execution of the show
- Allocate resources as needed and support the crew across all technical with all tasks at hand
What you bring
- Proven experience in live entertainment, touring or event production
- Valid IPAF license (1a, 3a and 3b)
- Ability to maintain, operate and troubleshoot lighting equipment, hand and power tools, and measurement devices (e.g. voltmeters)
- Strong technical knowledge of DMX, networking and show control systems
- Good computer skills, including programming and operating network-based systems
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Physically fit (no vertigo or colour blindness)
- Stress-resilient with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Availability October 2026 – April 2027
