Tour Manager

As Tour Manager you ensure an outstanding performance of our celebrated ice show by seeing to a solid preparation, organization, and execution. You lead about 70 people in cast, crew, and staff while touring through Germany or Austria, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, managing all practical, logistic, administrative, and travel activities. As the company representative on the road, you are the person in charge for a broad range of external stakeholders and colleagues. Preferably, the Tour Manager starts 3 weeks prior to the first rehearsals to prepare the tour administration.

Key duties

• Lead and empower the cast, crew, and staff, maintaining discipline, and solving conflicts and practical issues.
• Be the company representative on tour: liaise with local promotors, venues, hotels, and other institutions (sorting out visa, working permits, etc.) while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Ensure a smooth, flawless workflow between teams, tackling possible problems efficiently.
• Arrange and communicate up-to-date schedules for working hours, travelling, and accommodation.
• Coordinate all staff, travel, lodging, and logistic arrangements, meeting day-to-day requirements.
• Manage financial administration such as payroll, merchandise, and petty cash, under the guidance of Finance agreements with local stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date communication with Finance, HR, Marketing, and Production at Head Office.

Skills and attributes

• Seasoned leader, with at least three years touring or managing an international entertainment production
• Excellent people skills: ability to motivate and engage people while maintaining discipline
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Competent analytical, organizational, and IT skills (MS Office including Excel)
• Experience with financial administration and reporting
• Excellent English skills: additional languages such as German or French preferred.
• Availability from September 2022 to the end of April 2023.
