Sound Technician

Ensuring sound at the highest quality is what you do best as a Sound Technician. Your knowledge of technical equipment and sound engineering takes the show’s performance to the next level. Join the Technical Manager with his international crew on a tour that takes you to cities in Germany or Austria, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.
What are your key tasks?
- Take care of on- and offloading of equipment in a timely and correct manner
- Responsible for the show’s acoustics, from assessing, assembling, positioning, to executing
- Monitor audio signals, consulting with the Performance Supervisor to ensure an optimum quality
- Mix, balance, and integrate (synchronizes) pre-recorded and live audio with visual content
- Maintain all sound equipment
- Support the crew with a variety of tasks and duties
Which skills and qualifications do you have?
- At least 3 years of live entertainment working experience
- Audio engineering certificate or other acoustic training is a plus
- IPAF license 1a, 3a and 3b
- Ability to maintain, use, fix, test hand and power tools, lighting fixtures, ohm- and voltmeters
- Excellent knowhow of Pro Tools / Cubase / QLab applications
- Outstanding English language skills
- Good health; no vertigo or colour-blindness
- Stress-resilient and a creative problem solver
- Availability from October 2023 to the end of April 2024
