Holiday on Ice is an international live entertainment production company, best known for world-class ice shows touring across Europe and beyond. Our productions bring together an international cast and crew of more than 20 nationalities, making HR a truly global and dynamic discipline.

Following the departure of a colleague, we are looking for an HR Officer – International Payroll & HR Operations to maintain continuity within our HR team. You will work closely with the HR Manager and play a key role in keeping our HR and payroll processes running smoothly, both at the office and on tour.

This is a hands-on, operational role with plenty of variety, responsibility and international exposure.

HR Officer (0,8 – 1,0 fte)

As HR Officer, you combine HR administration, payroll coordination and international HR support. You act as an operational partner for employees, management and tour teams, and you enjoy being closely involved in day-to-day HR operations.

HR & Payroll Operations

  • Process and manage payroll in AFAS
  • Handle HR administration for onboarding, offboarding and personnel changes
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts and personnel files
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR and payroll processes.

International HR & Mobility

  • Apply for and coordinate applications for visas and work permits for international cast & crew
  • Prepare and manage A1 certificates for international assignments
  • Enroll all employees on the Dutch collective Health Insurance
  • Support employees before and during international tours
  • Act as HR Liason for tour management during tours (operational HR questions)

Daily HR Support

  • Manage the HR inbox and respond to employee and management questions
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related matters
  • Support a seasonal onboarding and payroll cycles for our cast and crew

Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in HR operations, payroll or HR administration
  • Bachelor’s level of working and thinking (HBO)
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch HR practices and legislation
  • AFAS experience is required, experience with international payroll is a strong plus
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Accurate, structured and proactive with a hands-on mindset
  • Comfortable working in a small team with overlapping responsibilities
  • Thrives in a dynamic, international and seasonal working environment
