Garrett Kling is thrilled to be coming back to Holiday on Ice in ‘Atlantis’ as a semi principal soloist.
After breaking his arm three times before the age of nine trying various sports, Garrett eventually decided that ice skating would be a good fit. After graduating cum laude from Trinity International University in Chicago, he embarked on a professional skating career being mentored by Jodi Porter of American Ice Theatre. He went on to collaborate with and choreograph works for American Ice Theatre and skated for Willy Bietak Productions, Ice Theatre of New York, StageWorks Worldwide Productions, and Dynamic Shows. He continues to do choreography for shows worldwide and international competitors including Olympic medallist Jason Brown. Kathryn’s love of ice skating began when she was just seven years old. Her parents took her to the Ice Arena in Blackpool and she was instantly hooked and loved every minute on the ice. She started off with figure skating and began competing and travelling around the country winning numerous medals and trophies. Kathryn took part in charity Christmas ice shows, twirling galas, team skates, and many other performances over the years. Her love of performing led her to decide to become a professional skater in shows.
When she turned 17, Kathryn took up the discipline of ice dancing and quickly discovered that she loved it even more than figure skating. A few months went by as she passed all her tests and was soon competing at junior level. In 2016, she joined the NISA GB Talent Squad and competed in the junior British solo ice dance championships. She ranked fourth in her first year of ice dance and was determined to push herself further.
In 2017, she decided to broaden her horizons and started studying for her coaching license, learning aerial skills and doing some pairs work. Kathryn then won the junior British solo ice dance championship in 2017, an accomplishment she was particularly proud of as she wanted to end her competitive career on a high note with the British title before turning professional.
Kathryn is thrilled to be a part of the ATLANTIS tour and is enjoying combining the two things she loves most – performing on the ice and travelling to new and exciting places.

As a little girl, Jamie Ann was entranced by watching figure skaters on television. The ice was a mysterious surface to her; glass-like and slick-looking, and she always wondered how skaters managed to glide across with speed and grace on such a thin blade.

At the age of 13, she laced up a pair of figure skates for the first time and skated in her first show one year later. Approximately two years after that, she began competing.

Jamie Ann attended the University of Colorado in Boulder where she earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Studio Art and Art History and gained a minor in Dance. During her four years in college, she competed nationally through the Ice Skating Institute (ISI), competed for the University of Colorado in team events, skated in local shows throughout the state of Colorado, and performed solo for various ice hockey teams’ intermission entertainment.
Jamie Ann is very grateful for this opportunity with Holiday on Ice, to do what she is most passionate about professionally.

Isaac Lindy was born in Philadelphia (PA) in the USA and began skating when he was five years old. He trained for 12 years at the Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society with Michelle Marvin, Tommy Kaine, and Robbie Kaine, competing regionally and nationally in freestyle, ice dance, and Theater on Ice. Isaac is a United States Figure Skating gold medallist and a Professional Skaters Association-certified coach.
Isaac then attended Vassar College where he received his Bachelors of Arts degree with Honours in Urban Studies. While at Vassar, Isaac shifted his focus from figure skating to contemporary dance, fascinated by the resonance (and dissonance!) between the two movement practices. He studied with Vassar dance faculty staff Stephen Rooks, John Meehan, and Katherine Wildberger and was a member of the Vassar Repertory Dance Theater. Isaac also spent a semester in Dakar and Saint-Louis, Senegal, where he studied Senegalese dance at Theatre National de Daniel Sorano and completed research on postcolonial urban identity. He then furthered his dance training at the American Dance Festival and at the Paul Taylor Dance Company summer intensive.
Having completed his undergraduate studies, Isaac danced professionally in Philadelphia, performing with Opera Philadelphia, the Putty Dance Project, Anne-Marie Mulgrew and Dancers Co., and Alchemy Dance Company. In 2017, Isaac returned to the ice in Brooke Frieling’s Masters in Fine Arts thesis concert. He has since worked with Montreal-based contemporary skating company Le Patin Libre. Julie is both a dancer and an ice skater. She’s been dancing since she was six and she started ice skating the day her father took her for a free session at the ice rink in Strasbourg. She was eight when she started competing, and over the course of eight years she took part in several regional and national competitions. She ended her competitive career with a top-ten finish in the Novice Women first division in France.
Julie never felt completely comfortable during competitions; she always felt more ‘herself’ during the various galas she took part in, organized by her club. She fell in love with creating, choreographing, and performing in front of an audience. That’s when Holiday on Ice attracted her attention, and in 2010 she joined the company. This is when her ‘life on tour’ began.

Over the past eight years, she travelled the world and performed in the Holiday on Ice shows Tropicana (2010 & 2011-12) and Peter Pan (2011) as a chorus member with an understudy role. From 2012 to 2016 Julie was a member of the Ice Age Live! show cast and had a number of roles in the various tours such as chorus member, understudy, line captain, and character.
She has also performed for other companies including Crystal Ice show (2016), Europa Park (2016), and Delice Show (2016 & 2017).
In 2018, Julie joined the ATLANTIS production as a chorus member and aerialist, and is back in the team for the second Season.

Courtney grew up in Canada where she stepped onto the ice for the first time on her grandparents’ pond outside their home. She was five years old at the time and has loved the ice ever since. It wasn’t long before she began taking lessons at the local ice-skating club, where she trained as a free skater and began competing at the age of 11. At the age of 16, Courtney was ready for a new challenge, exploring the discipline of synchronized skating.

She began by competing at junior level for three years and competed at the Junior Worlds, representing Canada for two years with her team NEXXICE. During the years that followed, she finished her post-secondary education and gained an Advanced Diploma as a Dental Hygienist. She promised herself that once she had completed her education, she would pursue competing at Senior level, and so she did for two years. In that period, she became a World Champion in 2015 with her team, came third at the Grand Prix Final in Barcelona soon afterwards, and competed at a second World Championships in Budapest in 2016.

This marked her retirement from competitive figure skating, and she has now discovered a love for the world of professional ice skating.

Courtney feels very lucky to be able to combine her passions for both ice skating and travelling. This will be her second year touring with ATLANTIS and is excited about the journey to come!

Shannon Grossman hails from Scottsdale, Arizona, in the USA. She began skating at the age of three because her father wanted to teach her the basics of balance so she could one day become a great skier. However, living in the desert gave her limited opportunities to practice on the ski slopes, so the ice rink was the next best thing. In the end, Shannon fell more in love with skating than she did with skiing.
Until the age of 18, Shannon competed in local, regional, and national showcase events. She went on to study at university and decided she wanted to become a coach. After her first year at university, she felt she wanted to give up on the skating world completely and focus on her studies. When she went to the ice rink to tell her director she wanted to give up coaching, she simply said ‘no, we really need you here’ and that was all it took to change her mind.
Six years later, with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, a personal training certificate, and more than eight years of coaching experience, Shannon is back for her third tour as a chorus skater with Holiday on Ice, now married and living in Europe. Shannon is excited to be returning to familiar ice for the second year of the Atlantis production!

Courtney competed in figure skating for seven years all over the western United States before she decided to train seriously in dance as well. She attended a performing arts school, majoring in dance. Her time at the academy helped develop her artistry and she graduated at the top level.
Following her school days, Courtney performed in a seasonal holiday ice show for four years.
Her first time performing outside the United States was last year with Holiday on Ice ATLANTIS, and she is very grateful and excited to be a part of the show for its second season. She hopes to connect with like-minded individuals with a love of performing, see more of the world, and gain new perspectives and experiences.

Talented and renowned as both a skater and choreographer, Mark Naylor’s career in the world of figure skating has proven to be marked by diversity, travel and creativity.

Growing up in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Mark began skating as a youngster. Encouraged by both his parents – in particular his mother, Patricia, herself a former professional skater with both Ice Follies and Holiday on Ice – Mark began skating lessons at age five. His amateur career included participation in the U.S. Nationals and World Skating Championships as a pairs skater whilst simultaneously achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware.

Mark turned professional in 1992 and enjoyed a diverse, globetrotting career that included lead roles in both Disney’s World on Ice and Ice Capades. He was also a featured skater in the 1994 A&E television presentation of The Planets. In 2003, Mark took part in Holiday on Ice’s European production of Pinocchio on Ice.  During Pinocchio on Ice, he experienced his first choreographer role when he assisted Cindy Stuart on this production for one week.

Mark’s career as a choreographer truly began in 2004, and since that time he has worked on several Holiday on Ice shows around the world as both choreographer and creative director, bringing his passion as a skater and eye for visual impact and absolute detail to the ice. Most recently, in 2013, Mark was the creative director and choreographer of Holiday’s successful and significant 70th anniversary show entitled Platinum. At present, he’s looking forward to being back on the ice with Holiday, with its innovative and magical 2017 production of ATLANTIS currently in the creative planning stage.
